science in soft focus

I am absolutely in love with this image, taken with a pinhole camera, over 6 months in one continuous exposure, in Bristol. This shows the path of the sun from winter through spring. The science of it is amazing enough, but I just love the visual. It reminds me somehow of Van Gogh's "Starry Night."
